Getting Started
Deploy your first Mogger in 5 steps.
Everything you need to go from zero to mogging the market.
New to crypto? No worries — we explain everything as we go. If you get stuck, check our FAQ or reach out to support@mogged.bet.
Create your Mogged account
Sign up with your email or Google account. It takes 30 seconds. You'll land on your dashboard where you can see your onboarding progress.
Browse the Mogger roster
Head to the Moggers page and swipe through our five trading personalities. Each one has a different strategy, risk level, and market focus. Read their profiles and pick the one that matches your style. Or visit the Forge to build your own custom Mogger from scratch — choose your body, set your sliders, and deploy a bot that trades your way.
Choose your plan
Subscribe to unlock Mogger slots. Starter ($19.99/month) gives you 1 slot. Pro ($49.99/month) gives you 3 slots with priority execution. Unlimited ($99.99/month) unlocks all 5 presets plus up to 3 custom forge slots with first-in-line execution. Need one more slot? Add-On slots are $19.99/month each. Cancel anytime.
Set up a dedicated trading wallet
We strongly recommend creating a separate wallet just for Mogged. This way, you only fund it with the capital you want to trade, and your main holdings stay completely untouched.
Using Phantom: Download Phantom (phantom.app), create a new wallet, switch to the Polygon network (the fast, low-cost network Polymarket runs on), and fund it with USDC (a digital dollar — 1 USDC always equals $1). You can buy USDC directly in Phantom or transfer from an exchange like Coinbase.
Using MetaMask: Download MetaMask (metamask.io), create a new wallet, add the Polygon network (the fast, low-cost network Polymarket runs on), and fund it with USDC.
Using Coinbase Wallet: Download Coinbase Wallet, create a new wallet, select Polygon, and transfer USDC.
Once your wallet is funded, connect it to Polymarket at polymarket.com and deposit your USDC. Then place one small trade ($1 on anything) to activate the exchange contract approval. This is a one-time step.
How much should I deposit?
Your deposit size determines how actively your Moggers can trade and how meaningful your returns will be. Here are our recommendations:
Starter plan (1 Mogger): $200 minimum, $500 recommended. At $200, your Mogger has enough capital to place multiple trades and generate returns that outpace your $19.99 monthly subscription. At $500, you will see more meaningful daily activity and profit potential.
Unlimited plan (5 Moggers): $500 minimum, $1,000+ recommended. With 5 Moggers trading simultaneously across different strategies, more capital means more opportunities captured and better diversification.
Important: Only deposit what you can afford to lose. Prediction markets involve real risk. Your Moggers use stop-losses and position limits to manage risk, but losses can and do happen. Start with an amount you are comfortable with and add more as you gain confidence.
Export your private key and connect
Recommended: We strongly recommend creating a dedicated wallet just for Mogged. Install Phantom, MetaMask, or Coinbase Wallet, create a brand new wallet, and only fund it with the capital you want to trade. This keeps your main crypto holdings completely separate and safe.
To connect Mogged, you need to export your wallet's private key (your wallet's secret password — like the PIN to your bank account). Your key and derived credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption and stored on our secure server. Your Moggers use these to place and cancel trades on Polymarket. We strongly recommend using a dedicated wallet — never your main wallet. Here's how to find your key:
Phantom Browser Extension
- Click your profile avatar in the upper left
- Go to Settings (gear icon) → Manage Accounts
- Select your account
- Click “Show Private Key”
- Enter your password
- Choose Ethereum/Polygon as the network
- Copy the key
MetaMask Browser Extension
- Click on the account selector at the top of the screen
- Click the three vertical dots next to your account
- Select “Account details”
- Click “Private key” and enter your MetaMask password to confirm
- Click and hold “Hold to reveal Private Key”
- Copy the key
Coinbase Wallet
- Open Coinbase Wallet
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Tap Security
- Select “Show Recovery Phrase” or “Export Private Key”
- Enter your password
- Copy the private key
Polymarket Email Users (Magic.Link)
- Make sure you are signed into Polymarket
- Go to reveal.magic.link/polymarket
- Sign in on Magic.Link with the same email you use for Polymarket
- Copy the displayed private key
- Log out of Magic.Link
Note: Email/Magic.Link wallets may have compatibility limitations with some trading tools. We recommend using Phantom, MetaMask, or Coinbase Wallet for the best experience.
What happens next
Your private key is used to derive your Polymarket API trading credentials (API Key, Secret, and Passphrase). Both your private key and derived credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption before storage on our secure server. Your Moggers use these credentials to place and cancel trades on Polymarket on your behalf. You can disconnect your wallet and delete your credentials at any time from your dashboard.
Wallet apps occasionally update their menus and settings. If these exact steps don't match what you see, look for “Show Private Key” or “Export Private Key” in your wallet's Settings or Security section.
Once connected, your Mogger starts scanning markets immediately. You'll see trades appear on your dashboard as they happen. You can pause or stop your Mogger at any time.
Important things to know
Your keys, your money
Your crypto stays in your own Polymarket wallet. Moggers use your encrypted credentials to place and cancel trades on your behalf. We recommend using a dedicated wallet with only trading capital.
You're always in control
Pause or stop any Mogger anytime from your dashboard. Remove a Mogger and existing bets still resolve naturally — nothing is lost.
Risk is real
Prediction markets involve real risk. Moggers use strategies designed to manage risk, but losses can and do happen. Never trade with money you can't afford to lose.
